Listening the org.jboss.seam.security.loggedOut event

I don't see anything in the code that would inhibit me from doing what I want to, but I just want to make sure. If I listen for the org.jboss.seam.security.loggedOut event can I still inject the identity and get at least the username of the person that just logged out? Is there a better way to do this?
