just let us know the time because i now want to make a decision whether to use seam in my project or not.
The JBoss Portal guys announced this at JBoss World last week. It's all done, AFAIK.

what about the third-party portal instead of the JBoss Portal?
I'm not sure, you'll need to ask the portal guys, I suppose.

hi Alex,
The link is here:
Portal 2.6.4 GA, Portlet Container 2.0 B1, Bridge 1.0 B1
The seam example is in the portletbridge.
I also have been waiting for this for quite some time, would be trying out when my current project implementation is over.
Best regards.
My understanding is that the bridge is a JSR-301 compliant, so any portal impl that supports JSR-301 should be able to use the bridge. But it's not tested.
