Load balancing is realized using Linux Virtual Server. Oracle Databases. THis application is inserted in a bigger J2ee system entirely based on JBoss technology. A b2b and b2c site selling financial report in electronic format. We use jbpm page flow composition to define navigations rules. We load jbpms files at runtime changing the navigation rules experience on a per user basis, applying different set of business rules and/or a different sequence of pages composing navigations steps. Internally we call this project Lego, like the famous toys, because if you consider each group of business rules a building brick... creating new selling platform is like playing with Lego. The registred user move something about 5Milinon Euro/month using this site, accessing 4 different Oracle instance for a total amount of 1.5 TeraByte. AWSTATS statistics give us an average of 650K pages/day and 1M hits/day. We have about 15K registered users paying to access the site with an average of 3K users/day accessing.
